How to Apply Mineral Makeup

If you are using Concealer, Well Rested or Mineral Veil this is applied prior to the foundation.

Tap a small amount of minerals into the lid, a tissue or a small piece of parchment or rice paper, swirl your Kabuki or Flawless Face brush gently in the minerals until the powder is within the hairs, tap off the excess.

Turn your brush upright, tap the bottom so the minerals evenly spread into the hairs.  You will not be able to see visible powder.

Begin buffing you minerals on, using a circular motion.  Start at the jawline and work inward and upward.  You really need to buff, buff, buff it in well.  This procedure of using a circular motion with slight pressure is how you achieve a flawless finish with minerals.

Complete over the forehead, eyes and nose. Repeat with Foundation.

Less is more with minerals, theses are strong pigments, you can always add a second layer without having a feeling of too much or too heavy coverage.

Once done you will buff on you mineral veil (Veil can be applied before the foundation application step. This will help with oily or shiny skin) in the same manner.  This will set your makeup for the day, reduce oiliness and leave your skin with a feather light flawless finish.

On top of this you can then dust on blush or all over face shimmer powder.

Apply all of your minerals using the swirl tap method to collect the powder & apply.

Eye shadows can be applied wet or dry.  Use darker shadow colors as liners with a wet liner brush.  Create new shades by layering your shadows, light over dark for incredible effects.
